Hi Josh

Very nice walkthrough.  Anyone who is using Adsense should pay attention to Josh's suggestion to put a "link unit" under the header.  I did this yesterday on one of my sites and the unit is giving me a RPM of around USD$5 (and it doesn't seem to affect the earning of my other ads).  I had stayed away from link units in the past but I will be implementing this on all my sites today.

Thanks for this Josh, I owe you a beer!!

Hi Marian

I dont know any way of ensuring you are the only person using the ip address of a proxy but you can check the ip address to see if someone is using it for spam type activity.  Go to ipvoid.com and do a blacklist check on the proxy ip and you can see if the ip is blacklisted and if it is why.

I personally use private proxies from buyproxies and have found them very reliable (although a little expensive at $2 per proxy per month).

Good Luck

Hi

You can also look at the error log that is located in the "Processes" tab.  If Pinterest has put your account in safe mode or banned your account you should see some information in the error log.

Hi Robert,

edit: another one this morning  ;D

I don't think VPS in some way could be affect it

Hi

Sorry I didnt mean there was something wrong with your VPS, just meant if you were running on a VPS you could share the login details with Jon and his team so they could check your setup.

Hi

Sounds very frustrating.  I have been lucky as I have only had a couple of accounts suspended and none since I stopped pinning 24/7 (2 months now and no suspensions).

If you are running on a VPS I think you should raise a support ticket and provide VPS logins to Jon's team and see if they can see anything that could be causing this.

Good Luck

Hi

Are you getting any indication from Pinterest why the accounts are being banned?  Also did you get any emails previously from Pinterest regarding these accounts?

Hi

You can try downloading the latest version and install.  This should fix your problem.

Hi

If you are looking for a VPS provider I can recommend https://www.vpsserver.com

I have 2 servers (Windows Server 2012 R2) with them (I took the $25/month server), they are both running 10+ accounts easily.  They have a 14-day trial (you need to enter credit card info) and the servers are ready to run in just a few minutes.

Good Luck

Hi Anaconda

I have never had this type of problem.  What type of proxies are you using?  Getting accounts banned immediately isn't something that has happened to me.  A couple of times I have had a message to re-verify my account but never had one banned like that.

Are you clearing your browser history, using your proxies when you sign up and verifying your account via the email link?  If you are doing this you shouldn't get immediate account suspensions.

Good Luck

Hi Anaconda

I leave the follow at 250 but I use the randomize feature.  I leave one day a week (at random) with no pin or follow activity.  On some accounts I have set a 14 hour period when I pin, but not on all.

I was hoping adding the twitter account would make the accounts look more natural and it has worked so far.

Hope it works for you also.

Hi Meg

Yes it is one twitter account per Pinterest account.  I buy profiled USA twitter accounts from buyaccs.  I also use ifttt to post my pinterest posts to the twitter account.  To connect the twitter account you go to your account/profile settings-Social Networks in Pinterest.

None of these accounts have been suspended and as the twitter profiled pva accounts cost <50 cents each I am going to keep doing this.

Although I may just have had a lucky couple of months.

Good Luck

Hi Tk

I haven't had any accounts suspended for quite a while.  One thing I did do for the last batch of accounts I created was to connect them to a twitter account (to try to make them appear more natural).  None of these accounts have been suspended.  You can pick up twitter accounts for almost nothing.

I may have just been lucky but it may be worth trying for you if you are having problems.

Good Luck

Hi There

Mac Addresses are not transmitted in TCP/IP packets so there is no way for Pinterest to see them.  The only info they will see is the IP and some info about the operating system and browser type (same you see in your websites logs).

Mac addresses are only used by machines on the same IP subnet, the machines use a process called ARP to get the mac address for an IP address, but this only works for machines on the same subnet.

Hi Jon

How do you gauge if everything is running smoothly?  Is there any particular thing you can look for to see if we are running too many accounts on a VPS?

Thanks

Robert
