I have a feature request. Could SM2 send a weekly email with account info (followers, pins etc.). This way we compare to the previous week. It would help identify accounts that are not performing due to configuration problems etc.
The more accounts I add the harder it is to keep track of them.
There is another option between shared and dedicated hosting and that is VPS (or cloud hosting). You are still sharing hardware but your site(s) get their own dedicated resources and you shouldn't have any TOS problems as the performance of your sites shouldn't effect anything else. Hostgator has these options and they are significantly cheaper than a dedicated server.
For a hosting company just to turn off access to your site with no warning is very bad in my opinion. Installing wp-rocket should give your site a pretty huge speed bump and your visitors go up even higher with your pages loading quicker.
If anyone is looking for a good hosting company I have used siteground for years and they are excellent. I am not affiliated with them at all but they are fast, with excellent support.
Moving your website can be a bit daunting but there is an excellent free plugin called "All-In-One WP Migration" that makes it all very easy.
I added a new account and this does not have the same problem. Not sure what has happened to my previous 2 accounts. Pins are working but follows are not. I will look around my pinterest account to see if there is anything I can see as it is obviously something on the account side rather than the software.
I am actually not using any proxy for either of these accounts. I have 1 account per installation of SM2 so I didn't see any need for a proxies to start with (maybe I am wrong about this). I was about to start adding some new accounts to the VPS install with some proxies so I will see if that makes any difference.
I could give you access to the VPS if that helps. I will PM you the details.
This is a mac installation but I also have one running on a windows VPS. Both are exhibiting the same problem using different pinterest accounts. If I log into my pinterest accounts I see no warnings or errors and pinning is working fine on both of these accounts.
There is no error in the error list, I ee the error if I watch the process as it executes in the process tab. The follow always ends in error, but there is no reflection of this in the error log.
It should be easy to verify this, just hit the "run now" button in the follow screen and go over to the process tab and watch the process as it executes. I have a screenshot but can't work out how to attach it to this post.
I have been using version 2 for a bit over a week and it has been working great. Today I noticed that the follow function does not appear to be working. If I watch the follow process I see it throw up an error everytime. I have SM2 working on a windows VPS and on my mac and both have the same problem. Pins are working fine and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my accounts.
