Social Multiplier 2 / Please share your success stories!
« on: April 10, 2017, 02:25:14 AM »
We're looking for feedback of what you've accomplished using Social Multiplier 2. We know that many of you are generating traffic and revenue because you share your results, which is great.

Not everyone has shared publicly. We get private messages and emails, but what we'd like now is more of you to share your results with us.

You don't have to reveal your niches, or anything like that. Just tell us what you've accomplished such as

Traffic figures
Traffic growth
Revenue (if you're willing to reveal that)
How many Pinterest accounts you're using

We're particularly interested in encouraging the people who haven't yet started with Social Multiplier - amazingly there are some members who are not yet putting it to use.

Social Multiplier 2 / Using a redirect
« on: December 07, 2016, 05:29:02 AM »
Click the image below to watch the tutorial on adding the redirect scripts.

Remember that you would buy a new domain name, set the domain up on your hosting, leave it blank and THEN do what's shown in this video. This new domain would be your "redirect" domain.

The domain you want all the traffic to go to is your "main" domain.

Here's the original script information from Jon's post:

I don't have a plugin. What I do is register a new domain, upload the .htaccess file below and the index.php file below.

RewriteEngine On

# If requested resource exists as a file or directory, skip next two rules
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/$1 -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/$1 -d
RewriteRule (.*) - [S=2]
# Else rewrite requests for non-existent resources to /index.php
RewriteRule (.*) /index.php?q=$1 [L] [/quote]

You can download the ready made index.php file, but be sure to put your own domain name in it!!  I've attached the file to this thread for your convenience. Look at the bottom of this thread to find the download.

Where it says

$domain = "yourdomain.com";

be sure to put your own domain name - no http or anything like that, just the basic domain name as shown in the example.

That will let you redirect from one page on the redirect domain to the same page on the final destination.

So, for example, if you want to send traffic to MyBrand.com from MyRedirect.com, with those two files uploaded to MyRedirect.com, if you browse to this URL:

It will redirect you to:

That way you can load up all of the target URLs you're using in the Pinterest account pinning to your brand domain and just search/replace the domain name with the redirect domain. Paste the redirect domain URLs into the new pin job(s) of a second Pinterest account and voila. :)

Article Builder / Article Builder Running Again
« on: February 05, 2014, 08:20:16 AM »

UPDATE: I just logged in and generated some articles in Article Builder. The restoration has literally only just finished, but access should be good again. Apologies to everyone for how long it's taken.

Hi everyone,

First, we are aware that there is currently still an access problem to Article Builder.

We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration it's causing you. It's not a good situation, we know. It's been caused by factors outside our immediate control, so there are limits to how fast we can rectify this.

The datacenter that holds our hosting has had two massive issues on top of each other. That's why it's taking them so long to restore the database (which is huge) and get the site fully functional again.

It's not the way we want things to be, but on a practical basis we're doing all we can right now to get things back to normal.

We are hassling them as much as we can to get this finished. Unfortunately, we do not have a definite timescale - they had hoped to have it finished in the early hours of this morning.

As a result of the outage, as soon as things are back to normal, we'll look at the best way to make it up to all of you for the inconvenience and frustration you've all had to go through.

We'll make a proper announcement to everyone who has been affected as soon as things are up and running again.

Article Builder / Data Outage
« on: February 04, 2014, 10:48:52 AM »
Jon has just had a personal email from the CEO of our hosting company.

They've assured us that they will fix the outage today. It's an extremely rare happening, but very frustrating for you all and we will do everything we can (mainly hassling our web hosts) to get this resolved as quickly as is humanly possible.

Apologies for the disruption.

Article Builder / Article Builder subscribers get a free plugin
« on: March 30, 2013, 04:13:06 AM »
If you're an Article Builder subscriber you'll be getting a discount code via email. The code will get you my latest plugin, CleanMe, completely free.

I'm offering it as a bonus for all Jon's Article Builder subscribers, because it's the perfect compliment to the 7 step system he outlined in an email recently, for building blogs on autopilot with Article Builder.

I have a new version of the plugin, using a different licensing engine. Currently there's no way to offer it totally free with my brand new shopping cart plugin (although that's coming), so what I've done is set the price to 1 cent. You can now access the plugin here:  http://sellmeplugin.com/members/clean-me-ab/

The site it's on will be where I sell the shopping cart plugin and it's a bit bare at the moment, so don't judge it by lack of graphics and fancy sales pages  :)

There's a video on that page showing how to download, install and activate it. There will be further updates in future, so it does more setting up for you.

Once you have the download and your licence key (sent via email), you shouldn't hit any problems activating the plugin even if my site is down for any reason. Licensing is now unlimited for personal use on your own domains.

I've had a few people email me about logging in to that site to get the plugin. You don't login. What you need to do is go to that page and click on the blue $5 button to "purchase" the plugin. Then click on CHECKOUT.

At that point you can enter your name, email and the discount code. The price will then change to zero - it takes a couple of seconds to make the change. You can then complete the checkout and you'll get an email with a download link and a license key.

If you don't get the email within a minute or two, please check in your spam folder, just in case it went there. ALSO, if you use Gmail you may find it better to login using a web browser to check the spam folder. Some email clients do not show it. Please be sure to mark the email as NOT SPAM when you find it, so Gmail learn that it really isn't spam!!

How fast can you install a blog and configure it ready to start taking content?

I did it in 90 seconds, using CleanMe. I even show you live in this video. You really need to watch this video, which shows CleanMe in action. It doesn't get much simpler than this.

CleanMe Plugin Quick Demo

It is free to Article Builder subscribers and my own subscriber list. The code to get it for free is coming to you via email. Please do NOT post requests here for the code. If you don't get an email with the code, check your spam folder - it might be in there.

The licensing system for the plugin allows you to install it on 100 blogs, but if you ever need more than 100 blogs just let me know.

When you've got the code from your email, here's where you go to get the plugin:  http://easywpplugins.com/downloads/cleanme/

The Best Spinner 2 / Latest TheBestSpinner Videos Now Posted
« on: January 13, 2011, 10:10:15 AM »
I've just finished uploading the first batch of the latest videos for The Best Spinner.

You can access them right now at http://www.thebestspinner.com/help/helpvideos/

The videos do not auto-start, so just click on the ones you want to see, listed in the left hand navigation column.

I'll post a full list of them, with descriptions, when I get back from my son's parent-teacher evening later today.  There'll be another batch of videos either later today, or early tomorrow, as well.

If there is anything in any of the videos that is unclear or badly explained, please let me know what and in which video and I'll re-work the video to clarify.  Any suggestions as to topics you'd like covered are also welcome.
