TextSuite / Re: Text Suite vs Article Builder
« on: August 21, 2017, 12:52:04 PM »
Article Builder is a  content database that randomly pulls together a title, intro/conclusion paragraphs and tips to form the body of the article.  You can then use it as is or spin it to increase the uniqueness if you wish.

Text Suite pulls together content from many sources, including Article Base and a huge number of PLR articles, that you can use to create new unique articles.

It also does many other things.  The home page says it best:  https://textsuite.com/

I used it for the first time a couple of weeks back.  Frankly I didn't expect much from it, just another method of pulling random paragraphs together to make new articles.  I should have known better.

Jonathan always does better than that in the software he produces.

I agree with Eric.  I use several tools and web sites to determine which aged domains I buy.  It would be nice to have one tool that incorporated everything in it.  However i suspect that is too much to ask for one tool.

items 5 and 6 are very important to me, once a domain passes all the other checks.

Ed

how is your health coming along..   are you back to fighting weight???

been following you a bit

Ed

Sorry about the late response to this.  Thanks for your concern.

I have not been that active for several months so I am just reading this.  In response to your question, I should be better soon.

I am having a valve replaced next week.  The doctors assure me that once this is done I will feel better than I have in years.  So I expect to soon be back to doing the things I enjoy.

I know you don't want to hear this but I suspect the problem is with your computer and not with TBS.

I say this because I just opened TBS without any problems.  I then pasted an article into it and spun some of the highlighted phrases.  I then created a spun article using TBS.

Everything worked without any problems.

Did you check to see if you had .net 4.5 installed?  If you do you probably need to remove that from your computer and then install .net 4.0.  I had a problem with some of Jonathan's programs not working after I updated to 4.5.  I tried removing 4.5 and installing 3.5 but my computer would not allow me to install it, stating it was out of date.  I finally managed to instal 4.0.

Once I had .net 4.0 installed everything worked.

I know you stated you installed 3.5 and 4.0 but did you remove 4.5 before you installed the two older versions?  It would not work for me as long as 4.5 was installed on my computer.

I wish I could provide you more help.  But all I can do is check to see if TBS works for me and it does.

That's great.  It would be nice if this was expended to the other niches as well.

Article Builder / Re: Only 15% Unique, Should I Be Concerned?
« on: March 03, 2014, 07:17:48 AM »
A main site (money site)  is a site where I try to sell something.  The something may be a product, ads I sell on the site or a link which earns me money when clicked on.  Or it may be a lead generation site that I create to sell to businesses.  But in one way or another I intend to make money at some time from the site.

Feeder sites are sites that are used to create back links to the above sites.  Another word for them is private blog network sites.  I don't place ads or anything designed to directly earn money on them. They simply exist to provide back links to the above sites.

I own SENuke, which I use to create back link campaigns for the feeder sites.  I use AB articles on these sites.  I use the spin function to create a master spin article with AB articles.  Then SENuke uses the master spin article to generate articles for the link building campaign.

I do not use SENuke to build back links to my main sites.  I link from the feeder sites to the main sites, which in time receives the advantage of the back links I have build to the feeder sites.  I know some prominent SEO specialists say you do not need to build back links to your feeder sites if you buy expired domains.  However I build back links to all feeder sites as it works for me.

I also use AB for rank crew.  I have had good success using rank crew.

AB articles are good if used properly.  For me that is feeder sites such as Web 2.0 sites built by SENuke.

If I wanted to use them as content on a main site I would make the domain a "tip" domain so the user expected to see articles that consisted on tips on the subject.  I would use "Tips" in the site title and the site description.  I would assign different "author names" to each article.  Finally I would read every article and check it for uniqueness before I placed it on the site.

I would correct any problems in the way it read if any existed.  I would write my own opening and closing paragraph for each article as I find the opening paragraphs not to be that good on AB articles if you are using them on a main site.  I would run copyscape on each article and do enough of a rewrite to ensure the article is 85% unique.  Most are 85% or better so the only thing I would rewrite would be the opening and closing paragraphs.

I forgot to say you should also look at the duplicate content.  A lot of what copyscape reports as duplicate content consists of three-four word phrases.  I ignore three and four word phrases that are reported as duplicate content.  If you are writing a subject it is hard not to use some common three or four word phrases that are commonly associated with the subject.

And it you do totally avoid them it sounds unnatural and would look unnatural to a human reviewer.

I am more concerned when an entire sentence, or even worse, an entire paragraph is duplicated.  Those I will change, as I don't want that type of duplication in my money site articles.

The other thing you need to look at is where you are using AB articles.  I use them for my feeder sites, not my main sites.

This is not due to duplicate content issues but because they are tip based articles.  They are an assortment of unrelated tips about the subject.  In the past I have had some negative results from using tip based articles on main sites.  So I no longer do it.  If I was to consider it I would create a "Tips" category and have the AB articles go into that category.

Now I know some members will disagree with me about using tip articles on your main sites.  I am only telling you my results, their results may be different.

I find that I get different results when I use the free version to compare a url than when I use the paid version to compare an article.

I find the paid version is more accurate.

On the average I find that AB content is 3-15 percent duplicate content.  This is well below anything that would trigger a penalty for duplicate content.

Start on the following page.  Follow their instructions, explaining any problems existed before you bought the site.  But you must follow their instructions to get results.

https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35843?hl=en&ref_topic=1724124

Toward the bottom of the page they state:

In addition, if you recently purchased a domain that you think may have violated our guidelines before you owned it, you can use the reconsideration request form to let us know that you recently acquired the site and that it now adheres to the guidelines.

I check uniqueness of articles, not the entire web page.

If you use WordPress you will have a lot of duplication for the entire page which is caused by the sidebar and other areas that Wordpress duplicates on every page.

And yes, if I found a article that 85% duplicated content in an article I would remove the article from my site.

Many believe that Google will accept anything above 30% as being original content.  I personally do not want anything below 75% original content on my sites.

I have never used the site which stated the content was 15% unique.  Did you double check this with http://copyscape.com/ to see what they showed?  This is what I use to check articles.

If the domain had been penalized before you bought it then contact Google and explain this to them.

Sometimes they will remove the penalty if you can prove this to them that the problems happened before you bought the domain.

Sometimes they will not do anything.  But it is worth asking if you want to keep the domain.

Thanks for your suggestion. Can you reply me effect on SEO process of disabling right click ?

No, as I have no knowledge how this would impact SEO.  I never disable right click on my sites so I have never tested this.
