Instant Video Wizard / Watermark Not Added to the slides
« on: November 17, 2017, 04:27:38 AM »

As of today 17/11, watermark is not been added to the slides. Although the checkbox is checked in the wizard, nothing is added and when i try to add it after slides generation, it does not add either. It has worked fine since the IVW launch upto  until yetsterday.

Anyone having the same problem?

The update makes a very big difference as compared to the statics images. Although it is working fine here are some observations.

When it comes to auto-choosing/selecting the slide layout formats (left and right), it is only selecting the left text format only and not the right format layout. I'm sure one can change this manually but i'm refering to the auto-generation.

During the tutorial last night, Amin made a very good point of the relationship between the text and the image. i.e. if you have the right or left format layout, the image panning should be towards the text and not moving away from the text. Yes again one can do this manually but i'm just wondering if you can enforce this rule for the auto generation such that if left text layout is selected the panning to the left will be selected.

Lastly, can you please leave the animate slide checkbox selceted by default. I understand you need to warn us about the generation time added but maybe you can have some red warning text appended to the checkbox text. (Just a thought).

What are your views on these frequent warnings about copyrighted content?

It states that the claimant is allowing the use of the content in your videos for revenue sharing. Am i missing something here?

Thanks Jon and nice to hear that you are working on it.

All is working good and the results are great and a joy to have.

The only thing i didn't mention is there are errors been popped up sometimes when making some changes such as duration change and hide text. However, i don't know why they come up because once i proceed to another action i find the action that reported an error actually executed okay. This doesn't bother me, its just to let you know.

Thanks Jon for this. This fix is great as it has also addressed something i wanted to mention (the auto-animation creation during slide generation) but i thought may be this was not going to be possible because of the layouts that does not support animation but you seem to be ahead of the game. But this brings me to ask the question - why does the left and right text layout not support the animation or video. With the paning of images in the other slides with different formats, it makes the static images look very odd.

Having said that, THANKS again for the last two updates. They make the videos look very professional.

With regard to the problem on attaching videos, i think the problem was with the first and last slides only but you seem to have figured this already and solved it.

At first i thought the problem was the mp4. This is because when you pushed through the update, i was at a stage of attaching an mp4 to a slide which failed to materialise.

I have done more tests and i don't know if this is only on my side or not. I have observed the following.

- It seems that whenever you make any change to a slide, the system assumes that you have added a video clip to the slide. I mean any change even adding a picture is probably been registered as a video.

- Although you can add a picture to a slide, you can't add any video - whether from the library or an upload. It just seems to start the process and then stops and doesn't give an error message.

- I tried adding an AE. It processes and then at the end hangs on gear and never finishes the process.

- The pictures that are attached when building the slides are okay but when you make change by attaching a different picture, it seems like you have added a video.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Jon for this very important update.

Unfortunately, I think it has killed the MP4 support. My mp4 clicps that i had uploaded and saved in the favourites are reporting that the format is not supported (I have been using them in all my videos until now). I even tried to upload afresh but no luck. Please check to see if that is the case.

Another important aspect you need to look into at foremost is the multiple update of slides instead of updating one at a time.

Instant Video Wizard / Count
« on: November 03, 2017, 08:23:16 AM »
Hi Jon,

Can you please give us another column on the "projects" page for the number of videos per project. And maybe a total count of all videos somewhere.

On the project page, a count of active videos.

I don't want to crash-gate but i was about to propose something of the sort.

I stand to be corrected but i think (or what i would propose) is a motion kind of effect on the images. This could be zoom in/out, or any kind of movement of the image which i think would be a cool feature resulting in adding that video effect or atmosphere.
