TextSuite / How do you log in?
« Last post by jb3147 on Today at 01:42:34 PM »
I signed up for this product this morning and did not receive any information about logging in or creating an account. I did send in a support ticket with proof of purchase but it's been several hours and no response. Can anyone point me to a place you create the account? Thanks

Instant Video Wizard / Save & Close issue
« Last post by martyn01202 on Today at 01:21:46 PM »
Since the last update, when I click on Save & Close after editing text, it saves the text in the editor but doesn't display the updated text on the actual slide.

On clicking 'Save & Close' the button highlights but the window doesn't close and the above issue occurs.

And FYI Jack, looking over the error log I can see that the same issue another user reported (meir) was also affecting you quite a bit. That issue is fixed now so you shouldn't bump into again.

I'm looking through the rest now, but that one was the majority of the problems you were facing.

Make sure you you click Save after each recording. Audio recording does not automatically save the video. Rendering the slide does, but not recording audio. So be sure to you click Save.

As for the other issue I'll dig into it.

Jo
I have just noticed that all of my recordings from slide 14 on have disappeared. Not sure why so I will have to look at why and how.

Whilst working on this video and others it tends to happen quite frequently as does the "Unexpected error" popup. The spinning cogs happen most when doing voice recordings and especially if I try a re-recording hard after a previous one, so I tend to delay a bit before doing it. The above presentation has 30 slides where the spinning cogs went into continuous operation on slide 25 ( and a couple of times earlier on previous slides) when trying to save the recording. If I reboot the programme and go straight to the slide it will probably work okay but then likely to happen again 3 or 4 slides further on. I am really enjoying the IVW programme but there are a few glitches - Do you want me to keep reporting these - I am never sure because I am reluctant to over-post negative comment.
Best regards - Jack

Okay, I'll do.

Also, the problem is once the rendering started you cannot cancel. So once the rendering started and got stuck (for any reason) the only option I have is to quit the webpage and than what happens is once I get back into IVW the whole video is erased.

For me sometimes it works fine and sometimes it gets stuck. If I could just quit a rendering that got stuck and start the same function again I think that would solve the problem. Just a small 'Cancel' button while rendering  :)

I figured out what caused your issue. It should be fixed now. Refresh the page and try again and it should work.

I have a fast internet from cable. Had never any problems watching heavy bandwidth programs like games and Netflix.

Can you get into my account and look at the slide that is currently stuck and still rendering? maybe this will give you any  clues as what is happening.

Is there anything I shouldn ask my cable provider?
