I'm Scared - Google Manual Deletion

I'm just starting out, and I'm pretty excited about the possibilities of everything SEO has to offer. But what really scares me is manual deletion from Google (I've read through a few threads that discuss this topic)

Is there a list of things that can be done to avoid manual removal from the indexes? Or what about a list of things that have been done to get people deindexed? Im sure with the number of sites Im shooting for it is bound to happen here and there, but I'd hate to get into a pattern of climbing in the SERPS only to be shot down by a human every time I do. I want to get it right early on.

Hi Brian

In my opinion this is something that depends heavily on your content.
As Mr Cutts from google always points out: Build great websites that deliver great content for real humans not for search engines and you will be pretty much on the safe side.
