text link?

Jonathan,

I appreciate you having this forum to ask questions....

Do I understand you right..... I need to have ranking keywords in my context that are (highlighted and) linked to my website?

as you mentioned in your demo... (my blog) was linked back to your website...

60% keyword
30% variation of keyword
10% my domain name

So what I do is place keywords in my context and link them to my website, right?

Thanks in advance

What I suggest is this: get links to your site with the keywords you want to rank for as the link text 60% of the time, and 30% of the time some variant of those keywords, and 10% of the time something else (such as your domain name).

e.g. If you want to rank for "green widgets" you might use:

green widgets - 60%
buy green widgets - 30%
mygreenwidgets.com - 10%

As the LINK TEXT -- e.g. green widgets

Thank you again Jonathan,

I appreciate your answer and have come to a better understanding from the clarification.

Subsequentially to the information you submitted, I have a couple more inquiries....

1) With the formula 60/30/10 is it advantageous or detrimental to use that formula on each page? ei; if so there will be 10 keyword-links on each page.

2) How many keyword-links is too much for a 300-500 word length blog?

Thanks in advance...
