What happens after all backlinks have been added to my site?

As I understand backlinks will be added to my site in a way that seems natural to Google! But what happens then when all the 250 links are added, do I need to keep building backlinks on my own to keep Google happy or could I just sit back and relax.  :-\

Hey,

That depends on a lot of things:

-are you happy with the rankings you have for your keywords?
 
If you are, move on to another keyword phrase or test the things that sell best on your site.
If not, then you need to either add more backlinks or analyze whether your keyword phrase is too competitive.  (I have abandoned hundreds of phrases in the past.)

Other things that you could now do:

-compile the URLs of your backlinks and ping them somewhere like PingFarm.  This will help with indexing your backlinks to make sure they count.
-check Google Analytics or Webmaster tools to see what keyword phrases are driving traffic to your site.  You could then sprinkle these phrases in your content or make another post about the one that is driving you the most traffic.

Thanks for the information!  :)

I was reading 3WayLinksSetup.pdf and there it said:
"When you first set up your site, ignore this checkbox. Do not check it. It should be left as shown in the image. It is only for use on sites which have been in the system some time and have already accumulated a number of links. You'll find more about it in the advanced lesson on modifying your existing links.".

So where can I found information about modifying existing links? For example can I edit my domain and change the kewords in primary, second and third link text and then update this information? Can I also check "Modify currently live links to new link text" and update this? What's the advantages of doing this, if any=)? Then I regret not choosing "Only give and receive links to/from sites in the same category as your site" for one of my domains. Can I check this and update my domain? As I understand, backlinks in the same category are more valuable and better for ranking.

For all this actions, do I have to send it on for approval again?
There's still much for me to learn about this...

You should always try to set up something that will continue to build backlinks over time. Like article writing. You shouldn't depend on 3WL to be your only source for backlinks, just incorporate it with other methods...

250 links is not a lot, most of the establish site can easily reach few thousand backlink, for branding site their backlink is more than 100K. Any competitor build more quality link and content than you, your site can be affected.

Build link is not mainly to make Google happy, any backlink to a site will stand a chance to get traffic. High click through rate will secure a site to high SERP
