I'm amazed how nobody is talking about "All in One SEO Pack" (by Michael Torbert) - that's one of the best SEO plugins for WP that i've been using on hundreds of my blogs over past 2-3yrs!

All in one SEO is definitely a good SEO Plugin, I just use Platinum SEO which was derived from it (it can even take all the settings if you migrate from AIOS) because it had better features at the time I changed and because it does not annoy you with advertising the Pro version aggressively...

I use easy wordpress seo plugin, blogglue plugin for aid ones ,the one that is the best free one and got me 20 to 50% better traffic is called "SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2" This si a real sleeper of a plugin that converts your incoming search terms to tags. Right away I seen the traffic coming to tags. every day then I use quick cache to speed up page load to give more conversions

I used to use AIOSEO then discovered SEO Ultimate, from the WP directory.

Builds automatic internal links to a post, which is one of the major reasons I use it - but tons more:

1) Competitive analysis for KW's (using simple search strings in Google, but saves times in support post composition).
2) Adds the microformats data to Google (this is for reviews: displays 1-5 stars in Google SERPs after a while...it took my site a few months but they're there now).
3) Allows full access to .htaccess and robots.txt from within your dashboard.
4) Manages all the AIOSEO metadata but better IMHO, because you can do it globally.
5) Adds the canonical URL for you if you want (so no more dupe content worries).
6) Adds the ability to add a code to any page - like if you want a banner ad, for example, to all pages/posts...or webmaster tools verification metadata, etc.
7) Adds a link masking ability which is a superior form of nofollowing a link (by creating a directory of your link, then adding the nofollow robots meta tag to that directory: superior to the rel=nofollow tag which essentially just divides your PageRank on internal links...for those of you doing PageRank sculpting)...basically think of it as a great free cloaker for your links.
8) Adds a widget so you can display links to related categories...good for siloing a website for SEO architecture.

Ugh. Sorry. Going all crazy here.

Just meant to say, "I love SEO Ultimate."

I'll give another vote for Yoast's plugin. That is what I am using. I have tried the others and they are all missing one thing or another that this one is not.

I used to use All In One SEO but now use Platinum which covers all the ground of AIOSEO and goes a few steps further. IMHO anyone using All In One should change to Platinum.

One reason for the choice was that it is dead easy for newbies to use and, until recently, I was building autoblogging websites for sale. So, I wanted a working solution that worked out of the box and could then be fine tuned later.

Also, I like plugins of the type that help with ranking long tail keywords, but none of the one's I'd recommend are free. Here's the one I use: cleverplugins.com/shop/seo-booster-pro/ It'll cost $15 but it works and very well too! Also, it will give you a good idea as to what content you should be adding to your site, making it much more focused upon your visitors.

Well this one worths a try.
I use the Easy WP SEO for checking and WP SEO by Yoast
Easy WP SEO allows you to check, for example, density in the post and density of the whole document, which means, after published. When you check just your post's density you wont be able to tell how its gonna be after published including the whole page content, sidebars and so and so on.
Thats in my opinion, much better than SEO Pressor which I have it too
