A few questions before joining

Hi All

I have created a new website and am looking to use SM as a primary traffic generator. One of the reasons I am so keen to use Pinterest is that I intend to do a lot of infographics to generate links/leads/traffic and in the future I could use an established Pinterest account to get some traction on these...

I am seeing a lot of issues around banned Pinterest accounts on this forum and for now I just plan on using a single Pinterest account and a single money/lead capture site.

This is quite concerning as it's quite a lot of money to fork out and seemingly quite a bit of risk involved. To add to my concerns it's in a controversial niche (medicinal Cannabis) although Pinterest is littered with the subject matter.

I am also in the UK so will have to use proxies which is another layer of complications.

This is not about recreational use but a genuine attempt to help people use Medicinal Cannabis correctly for certain illnesses as I have a lot of knowledge on the topic. The site is full of value and the lead capture giveaway is not some crappy report but rather 157 pages of jam packed content, some of which I have carved up and am using as content on the site as well as other original content.

All I want to do is redirect traffic to my blog page  and then let the pop ups and other calls to action guide people to my squeeze page.

Is this the right program for what I am looking to do?

Thanks in advance

I am not sure that SM is available to buy at the minute. It doesn't matter whether you are in the UK, US or anywhere else, you would be best using proxies. Pinterest is good for visual items. While there may be many pins on the subject, you would need to check whether there is much interest on Pinterest by checking the number of boards and the number of followers for the top accounts.

Oh right I was going to join up for Learn with Jon and my understanding was that it was part of that package??

There is certainly enough interest on the subject matter, more than many other social networks.

Ah right, yes, that's correct.
