Custom Images Pin Editing Issue
« on: April 17, 2017, 04:31:10 PM »
Hello Jon,

When i tried to edit the custom images pin job ( for example, number of pin, time interval etc) it always uploading/updating the the whole set off custom images again. So, its very difficult to edit the custom images pin job.

I have loaded around 4k custom images. When i tried to edit the pin job, each time 4k images are uploading/updating.

Can you please look into this?

Velrajan T.

You can't edit the pins once they've been put in. You can only import a new set of pins. So you need to edit the import file and then import it again.

My scenario is..

I have generated around 5k pins and setup with one job with 50 pins/day.

I want to increase pins to 100 or 150 after one or two months. WHat should i do now?

Can i shuffle and use the same 5k pin CSV to setup new pin job? As i remember you told in another thread that SM2 will randomly pick pins from custom pins and not in the order they imported.

OR

If SM2 pinning in order...i can find the latest one pinned and deleted the pins from CSV till that point and setup the new job.

Kindly suggest which will work for me..

The pins are randomly selected. Just increase the number of daily pins on your existing pin job.
