Dead proxy... What to do?
« on: March 13, 2017, 11:38:44 PM »
Hi Jon and All,

I was reviewing the forum topic not to duplicate the questions, I hope that it wasn't asked before.

I'm building many pinterest accounts with SM2. I have tested a few proxy providers and using 3 of them. It happened to me that the proxies from one of the proxy providers just don't work. I don't know the reason, payment done, but it looks they've got shot down... So I have 3 pinterest accounts running on their proxies. What should I do now? Can I switch to an other provider, to new proxy IPs? All the 3 accounts are 2 months old, some generate very good income. I'm afraid what if I set an other proxy and pinterest will suspend the accounts. Can you please help with recommendations or experience?

FYI. SM2 doesn't run for these, as the proxies are not working.

Thank you for your help!
Peter

If SM2 hasn't been running for a while anyway on the account then it should be ok to replace it with another proxy as long as you weren't manually pinning or accessing the account. If you were, then stop for a few days and then replace the proxy.

Yes I did what Jon said when one of my proxies went west and when I transferred a Pinterest account that I had been operating here from Spain manually to my US VPS.

In both cases i got an IMMEDIATE email from Pinterest (don't obviously know whether they always do) just asking me to click on a confirmation link that it was indeed me changing the IP, after that all was fine.

So you may want to look out for an email from Pinterest.
