Error Message: "Something went wrong on our end. Sorry about that."

Hi Jon and Members...

Yesterday... and today especially... I've received a huge spike in the error message "Something went wrong on our end. Sorry about that."...

The pin jobs are working fine as normal... this error message is only occurring for follow jobs...

All my accounts are fine... proxies are good... and pin jobs are again still working fine...

I wound normally receive this error message like once every 3 days... but today I'm receiving it like 5 times per hour...

Is the SM2 server down or being updated today?..

Is anyone else getting a large spike in this error message today?..

That's not an SM2 error, that's a Pinterest error. Pinterest has been having intermittent server issues that cause their API to fail lately. For the last week or so it was an issue with the pin API "not finding the image" (even though it's there). That appears to have stopped happening so much, and now it's this one. Nothing to do but wait for Pinterest to take care of their network issues.

That's good to know...

I always thought that that error message was from the SM2 side letting us know your servers had a "hiccup"... but now I know that error message is sent by Pinterest when they are having issues... good to know...

For such a popular and fast growing website... they do have a lot of site problems that happen pretty often...

Maybe they had old MySpace engineers build there infrastructure... or maybe Yahoo engineers too ;D
