How Long Does It Take To Reach 50K Followers On Pinterest?
« on: March 11, 2017, 07:01:27 AM »
I am wondering - how long on average does it take for a Pinterest account to reach 50K followers with SM2? And is 50K followers still the max amount of followers you can have?

Probably would take years and years. Assuming you are following conservatively. If not, your Pinterest account may not last even a month  ;)

And if you're redirecting multiple accounts to a money site, you can forget about having many followers to any one of those accounts. It then becomes a Quantity over Quality game. Many tiny accounts to add up traffic.

There is no maximum on the number of folloers you can have for a single account....there is however a ceiling of 50,000 people you can follow....

JL had at least 2 accounts that had over 50,000 followers from the original sales page for SM2....havibg high numbers of followers are nice for vanity, but you can actually drive very good traffic from accounts with less than 5k followers....quality over quantity ;)

I'm really not sure where you're getting your information, because it's dead wrong.

How long it takes to get to 50k followers depends on how soon your pins start getting put into Pinterest's keyword search. Once that starts happening followers grow quickly. It can take a year or more depending on the market.

And I see you constantly badmouthing redirects when none of my results show what you say to be true. My redirect-only accounts grow followers just as fast as my regular account followers.

I strongly suggest that just because you've had a bad experience you not make assumptions about everybody else's success (if your own bad experience is the reason for your comments).

I apologize Jon. Maybe I brushed off redirects because people keep getting accounts banned even though you claim it is a very safe way. But mostly because I don't fully understand redirects which seems like a lot of effort and cost. You seem to be one of the few who can successfully use redirects without issue but it doesn't seem to apply to most others.

Your suspensions certainly aren't because of the redirects. I know because I have literally hundreds of redirects, and if that was the cause few of my accounts would be running now.

Let's see if we can figure out where you went wrong and help you fix it. That would be better for you and anyone else having the same issue.
