Hi HoneyJo
Thanks for your questions. To offer more detail - a Social Bookmarking site is a site like
StumbleUpon.com or
URL.org where people share website addresses that are of interest to them.
This counts as a link to your website in Google's eyes and helps your search engine ranking.
But submitting bookmarks manually is a time consuming process.
I have an automated system in place that submits the web address you want to promote to 1,000 social bookmarking sites. These sites range from Page Rank 5 down to Page Rank 0.
These social bookmarking sites want more people to submit sites, so they're happy to receive submissions. This automated process means you don't have to spend a day or two submitting bookmarks, and instead it's all done for you.
There is software on the market like Bookmarking Demon that's meant to make the bookmarking process easier but it can still be very time consuming handling it all yourself, and the learning curve can be quite steep.
What I have is software that runs around the clock submitting social bookmarks. And I can get 1,000 bookmarks in place in 24 hours or less. And at the end you'll get an Excel spreadsheet that shows you where all the links are.
Now of course with Google, nothing's guaranteed to work forever, but right now social bookmarking submissions in bulk can have a very powerful effect on Google rankings for your site.
Now, it's recommended you include at least three keywords, this way you get more benefits, and it looks more natural than 1,000 links pointing to your site all with one keyword.
It's also suggested if you can to include the description in spintax format, but this isn't necessary.
Now, if your site is less than three months old, this can still work but I would be a little bit careful. More established sites should particularly benefit from link building in this fashion.
I've used this link building to quickly get clients into the top 10 for quite competitive keywords, including keywords like this for ClickBank product launches:
product name review
product name bonus
99% of the social bookmarking sites are family friendly. The occasional slightly risque site may have slipped into the database, but it's easy for me to remove those so your links would never appear there.
So effectively, you choose your URL (either your website, or a specific page on your site), you choose your keywords that you'd like to rank well for (three or more is suggested) and then you write a description, ideally but not necessarily in spintax format.
You can then also include tags, which are basically extra keywords. And that's pretty much it. For example:
URL: MyWebsiteName.com
Keywords: Learn Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word Skills, Become a Microsoft Word Expert
Tags: microsoft, word, office, pc, computer, office skills
Description: Want to quickly and easily improve your Microsoft Word skills? Then visit our website for hours of in depth tutorial videos walking you through Microsoft Word from the very beginning, to advanced status. And it's all free.
When you submit the form, I get the process running creating the bookmarks for you, and 24 hours later or less I'll email you a full report showing you where the links are. But most importantly it should have a very beneficial effect on your site rankings quickly (less than a week, if not a day or two), assuming the keywords you're going after aren't hugely competitive ('make money' for example).
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Louis
