Author Topic: Is there a limit on the number of times I can Login to use Best Spinner Per Day? (Read 570 times)

Hi,

I have placed my support ticket since 4 days ago on Friday 28th, and haven't received any reply (Ticket ID: #25177).

I am posting this on the forum to ask anyone here who may have experienced similar problems.

The Problem

On some days, i do use the Best Spinner quite extensively and probable login and logout about 50 times in a given 24 hour period. However when this happens... all of a sudden, i am unable to login any more to use the best spinner.

It says i have an invalid username or password.

It's quite frustrating and has happen EVERY time i use the best spinner extensively in a given 24 hour period.

Is there a limit on the number of times i can login and logout using the BestSpinner software? Is this somehow triggering a Locked out of my account and i have to wait till the server resets everything again every 24 hours?

I would just like to find if any other users are having this problem and is there a work around this problem.

Yes, I understand that there is a daily limit on the number of times you can login to TBS.

Help desk is open Monday to Friday 1pm to 8pm CST.

Thanks for the reply.

I also received a reply from support about this issue and they mentioned that:

"
In order to protect the security and integrity of your account you're limited to 40 login attempts in a 24 hour period.

I would recommend that you login once to TBS and leave it open during your word day.

Your account will unlock 24 hours after the period of the initial lock."

It seems ok to keep the BestSpinner open all days to avoid the lockout, if more than 40 logins has been done in 24hour period.

However, even if i keep the best spinner open and not close it, from time to time a window will pop up and it says:

"Your Login Session has expired. Click OK to login again, or Cancel to exit the application."

So, I am forced to login again even i try my best not to login to many times (If more than 40 logins in 24hours - you are locked out from using the software). 40 Logins in 24hours is to low, in my opinion and many users use the BestSpinner quite extensively and can easily go past 40 login attempt (including when the session has expired automatically and you are forced to login again).

I have written to support and am awaiting their reply.

I thought i would just share this if other BestSpinner users who may have problems being locked out from the software (invalid username and password), if you have too many login attempts in a given 24hour period.

The log in session will expire once per day. To be honest, once I fired up TBS I tended to leave it open until I next reboot my machine, but then I found that when I came back after sleeping that although the application was still there and visible that functions were not actually working and a new log in was needed.

I guess that it'd be hard for one person to need to log in and out more than 40 times in a day?

I didn't know there is a login limit per day with TBS. But I think I never reached 40 logins/outs as I don't have experienced of being locked out.

The session expired always happen with version 2 but not so often with TBS 3.

Not if you are sharing the same login with someone or several someones and you are all using it in turns.

Yes Andrew, it is allowed as long as no two are signed in at the same time...

It can be on numerous computers, sharing a password ie:partner, virtual assistant, ect., if
two sign in using the same password the first one that signed in is immediately kicked off!!

I was also wondering how someone could log in and out 40 times in a day! You could spin an article in the time in takes to log in and out 40 times! However, if you are talking about more than one person using the same TBS3 account then it becomes more feasable.

Hi Everyone,

thanks for the replies and yes, now i get it, on why i am always being logged out. I am sharing my copy of the BestSpinner with my Virtual Assistant in the Philippines. I didn't realize that i would be logged out if my VA also uses TBS at the same time.

The moment, when i get logged out, I login again and She (VA) get's logged out, She then tries to login and I get logged out. We repeat this several times without knowing why we got logged out in the first place.

Hehehe... yeah.. with the both of us trying to login and logout with no idea that only 1 of us can use TBS at the given time, it's easy to reach 40 logins a day. Very easy :-)
