Can't work with Hebrew anymore since last
« on: December 09, 2010, 03:34:09 AM »
I used to work just fine with Hebrew files and the best spinner (just spinning) up to the last or pre-last version.

Now with the latest version 2.8102 it just show question marks instead of characters.

I tried to save the file in utf8 but I also get 'garbage' characters.

Please help

Yair

TBS isn't really designed to work with other character sets than the Latin character set, so I can't guarantee that updates won't break your ability to work in those other languages.

Hi Jonathan,

I am getting the same errors as Yair, getting question marks instead of apostrophes when I save the file to .txt. Strange thing it is only happening with my outsourcer when she is using The Best Spinner, but not with me.

The text is in English.

Any ideas would help.

Cheers,
Tom

Your question reminds me of one I saw on the forum quite a long time ago. I can't quite remember the context but someone was using a particular character set or font where the letter "i" had no dot on top. I think they just had to change the font they were using. The term "Latin" cones to mind in terms of the name of the font. Sorry I can't be of more help.
