cant get 3.036 to open and work

I just downloaded the "Troubleshooting pdf" on the forum, but that is outdated and not relevant to what his happening here - I can't get the 3.036 TBS to open and work..... so what the heck is going on?

(*sigh* also can't insert image of message I'm getting)

.... and yes, I will contact someone in Help when I find out how to post a ticket, but this problem is waaaaaay beyond a joke.  I find that I just don't want to even try to open TBS any more, its just too painful   eg it has been ONE HOUR so far tonight spent just trying to get TBS open and working and I have nada, zip, success - just MOUNTAINS of frustration from it.

BTW: this needs to be updated, as I just keep getting sent around in a circle:

It has driven me crazy, haven't been able to use TBS for months now, as every time I log in I get the *bleeping* UPDATE message, and when I do it wont update, and then I have to go and find out WHERE I can get the latest update from, as the link for  ht tp:// thebestspinner.com/?action=getlatestversion only give you the 2.9xx versions, and I spend HOURS trying to just get the thing uploaded, updated, logged in and actually OMG - working.... well, SOMETIMES it works.  

At this very minute I am yet again, uploading/updating Net.4 in the vain hope that it may fix *something* to do with this problem.

BUT it would be handy if the "Does the application keep asking you to update over and over?" actually opened to an explanation....

You are in the TBS2 forum, which is POSSIBLY why everything relates to TBS2! There is a separate TBS3 forum. http://jlforums.com/tbs-version-3-beta/ In that forum, there is a direct link to the download site for TBS3.

Suggest you uninstall TBS3, close your computer and reboot. Download TBS3 and reinstall using "run as administrator" at every possible point if you are using VISTA or Win7
