Want to spin text from an other language
« on: July 12, 2011, 07:44:44 AM »
Hey all,

I am looking for a way to spin (only spin) a Dutch text, but I was wondering how I could achieve this. Does anybody got the same experience/need that I've got. Hopefully somybody can point me to the right direction.

Thanks in advance

What exactly do you mean by "spin"?
Looking at English, you could use TBS to spin similar sentences (or paragraphs) together: e.g, "Once upon a time, there were three bears." and "There were, long ago, three bears.". You would spin them as {Once upon a time, there were three bears|There were, long ago, three bears.} Any article formed from this would include only 1 of the sentences.

Many people using TBS also add synonyms to sentences and this is also called "spinning". This would be, for example, using the 1st three bears sentence above, {Once|Long ago|A very long time ago|Many years ago} there were {three|3|a number of} {bears|hairy bears}.

For the first example, you would need a number of sentences, of which you knew the meaning, (roughly) and where you could make each sentence a "synonym" or an alternative  of the other.

For the second example, you would need a thesaurus of synonyms to be able to choose alternatives to the words in your article.

It appears from previous posts on the forum that there will not be any support for languages other than English because there was not enough demand for this.

You should be able to put Dutch thesaurus text into your "favourites". You can store quite a lot in there.
