deep link analysis-skip domain
« on: October 03, 2010, 08:32:57 PM »
When I do a 'deep link analysis', with the 'Skip multiple links from the same domain' cheked, WCA still list those links.

For exemple I have a site wich has over 5000 Backlinks and an important number of them (over a 1000) come from the same site.
Of course WCA list them first, ::), so it does not process the other ones since it will process only 1000.

It would be nice if we could specify manually or by a check box to not process this particular domain.

There's no way to have Yahoo remove those links from the results they return, and they always return only 1,000 results.  So I'm afraid there's no way to do that since you can't tell Yahoo which domains to exclude and you can't tell Yahoo not to return multiple links from the same domain.

The only thing WCA can do is safe you some time by not processing all the duplicates Yahoo returns.

ok I see.
WCA could weed them out but would only display the remaining links.
If 990 links were from the same site then it would display only the remainig 10 anyway, right?
